The tale of Christopher Robin, his best friend Winnie the Pooh and all the other animals in the woods. I loved the stories and the illustrations. I'm not sure why I never read this as a child. I was bummed to learn my favorite character from the Disney films, Tigger, doesn't make an appearance until the next book, which I will have to read sometime. I liked that Rabbit wasn't as annoying as he always seemed to be in the Disney version and that Owl was actually in the stories more than he is in a ...more

Everyone should read this book at least once in their life...perhaps even share it with a special young person with a read aloud.

Winnie-the-Pooh is classic! It brings me back to watching the Disney cartoons in my childhood. I love the imagination and the way Christopher Robin is so clever and kind-hearted to his friends.
