What Members Thought

It has been a long time since I read the rest of this series. The early ones were really enjoyable escapism with accurate historical detail (as far as I could tell). Starting this felt different and less engaging. It was long enough to draw me in as the book progressed, but for me all the additional characters aren’t as interesting as the Jamie and Claire show. Three stars for a relaxing read.

I really wanted more of the Roger/Brianna/Jem/Mandy storyline. That's what's keeping me going. 5 more years, right?

I love Diana Gabaldon's books and have read nearly all of the Outlander series. Still, I was the only one I know that DIDN'T want it to be made into a movie or TV series. I guess I just love the characters that are in my head too much to have them changed in any way on screen:-)

I love this series of books, but I have very mixed feelings about this particular book. In many ways it had the feeling of going home and spending time with friends and family you've missed. But it also seemed to just meander from one place to another. It introduced characters and then just left them hanging. It left me wondering what became of many characters.
