This goddamned book kept me up way too late each night that I read it. Clare Mackintosh owes an apology to my boss for making me so tired I could barely focus at work.
But, aside from all that, it wasn’t really very good. It was, in short, a well-paced, vapid page-turner. This would make a good airplane-read, or beach-read. The characters were all very two-dimensional.

Really original crime concept and a pacy plot. Plenty of red herrings to keep the reader guessing. Will read more by this author
This book offers an interesting exploration of identity theft, cyber-stalking, and the very real dangers women can encounter in the most seemingly innocuous of places but, inevitably, the narrative veers into stock "woman in peril" territory as our protagonist learns that the threat to her is - coincidentally! - shockingly close to home!

Interesting concept, but then some of it reminded me of the movie, Speed. Wasn't who I expected to be the perpetrator though.

While I didn’t totally hate this book, I found it a little repetitive, overly long, and with an ending so melodramatic and eye roll inducing it was hard to even stay interested once the “whodunit” was revealed.
