Good book with a story that reminded me of what might have happened next after the ending of the movie Castaway.

For the first 2/3 of the book, I was really caught up in the love triangle between Emma, Sam and Jesse. Who will Emma choose and why? In all fairness, this book was left behind by a houseguest and I was ready to read a “lighter” book. It’s definitely a quick and harmless read—acceptable for poolside or other summer reading. I’m not going to delve into characters or plot or themes bc not much to say critically.

3,5 stars - round up to 4 (because it's TJR lol)

I like the premise of the story, but sometimes Emma the main character is so annoying, especially near the end of the book when she already made her decision.

I think this book also took some issues (like PTSD) in a bit too light tone. But overall, the story is still enjoyable since the writing is (as usual) effortlessly fluid.

Raw and romantic, this story explores first love, true love, and forever love. Painful and surprising at times, Jenkins Reid delivers a masterful love story in an unusual situation. Kept me walking longer to learn what would happen. Nice on #audio
