What Members Thought
After reading the first fifteen of the "Parker" series in order, this sixteenth immediately felt different -- literally, because it's about double the length of any of the previous ones. I don't know what Westlake's intention was, but in reuniting characters and plotlines from a bunch of the previous books, it definitely felt like a farewell final book. An all-star cast coming together from past books. Good addition to the series, but not sure I buy the hype from some of the reviewers that this is one of the best in the series. Felt a little too much like one of those TV cast reunion shows.
