I honestly don't know how to rate this book. It has an interesting premise, but I'm not sure I liked the execution of it. I really liked Pines by the same author. I don't want to steer someone away, because I think others will like this book. ...more

First Blake Crouch read--forget how I learned about him or this book; probably through another book as I was browsing amazon.com. I gave it a 3-1/2 stars in my Reading Log. Not bad--not great. Very interesting--and mind-boggling character/story twists. Short on the scientific explanation, though I guess scientists are still trying to figure out how it seems that some sub-atomic particles can be in 2 places as the same time...hence the idea of the "multiverse." Ripped through this in two sittings.
Mostly because of the plot.
What if?
Seriously, what if you could write your own history multiple ways?
Recommended to me by a friend who really sold it, of course it didn't seem as good as it sounded.
But still, it grabs your attention and keeps on moving rapidly to its conclusion.
Enough said.
