3.5 stars. This book started off so strong. The kind of book that makes you want to call in sick and stay up all night reading. Unfortunately it seemed to slow considerably in the second half of the book. To much thrown in at the end and I just lost all the initial excitement for this story.

First Blake Crouch read--forget how I learned about him or this book; probably through another book as I was browsing amazon.com. I gave it a 3-1/2 stars in my Reading Log. Not bad--not great. Very interesting--and mind-boggling character/story twists. Ripped through this in two sittings.
Mostly because of the plot.
What if?
Seriously, what if you could write your own history multiple ways?
Recommended to me by a friend who really sold it, of course it didn't seem as good as it sounded.

Enough said.

Every once in a while, you read a story that churns your brain. Dark Matter was one of those for me. Each turn of the story had me engrossed and it went in directions I wouldn’t have ever been able to predict! If anyone has read this and could recommend similar books to me, please do because I loved this one.

This is a book that I didn't think I would like but ended up staying up late to find out how it ended. There are many references to math and physics but the book does not require any background in these areas to understand what is happening. ...more

A good read, but not great. Enjoyed the first half of the book but then things got convoluted and one particular concept (won't mention it so as not to spoil) I couldn't grasp. Might make a good movie tho and it did hold my attention. ...more
