An African-American musician teaching in rural Ireland investigates a murder on the behest of the ghost haunting her cottage. If nothing in that sentence scares you off this book, you will like it. I liked it, but found myself disappointed that nothing in it transcends the premise. I liked the characters and the dialogue, but thought a number of conversations were too coincidental and the solving of the mystery went too smoothly.
