Shelves: fun-mysteries
Another fun, not extremely challenging mystery from MC Beaton. Her style is uniformly humorous and skillful even if her characters and mysteries are rather predictable. Never overdone, often laugh out loud funny.

I like this series a lot, but some of the later books, including this one, don't hang together through the transitions as well as the earlier ones do. That said, I always enjoy visiting with Hamish MacBeth and the unique villagers in Lochdubh, Scotland. ...more
