I LOVED this book for most of the way through it - it had a town with wonderful characters, and the main characters, very interesting and intriguing though flawed in some ways, had a lot of heart. Rachel is one of them, and she returns to her home town to make amends for all the bad things she had done earlier in her life, especially to her mother. She befriends another fascinating MC, Jake, who is much younger than she is, but the two of them bring out many good things in the town. Then I HATED ...more
