What Members Thought
My real rating for this book is a 3.5 or maybe even a 3.75. Parts of it were really great. Her prose are generally really elegant and beautiful. Her books always make me long to travel Eastern Europe. There were just too many elements to the story for me. For example, I didn’t need all the stuff about the death of the main character’s brother (not a spoiler, it happens right at the beginning). And that section jumps back and forth between third and first person, which seemed superfluous. This wa
