Overall, an interesting read about a family that finds that the inheritance that they all had anticipated receiving ceases to exist as a result of the actions of one of them. The book is well-written and reflects the trials about an upper-class family who lives in New York. The characters are relatable and the story overall is pretty good.
Overall, I recommend this book as an easy summer read.

I don't think the book lived up to all its hype. I found it hard to care about the characters.

Not an exciting page turner, more a study of the characters, but kept me reading nonetheless.
Such dysfunction! But soon you become engrossed with the Plumb family members. You root for them; you want them to be happy. And they each have a downfall, something they cling to, almost unwillingly, that holds them back. Will they discover how to let go?
So many secrets and lies within this family! And yet they manage to make it through.
