The first entry in the barbecue restaurant mystery series, this book tells the story of what happens when a food critic suddenly dies in her hotel room after eating barbecue at a local restaurant. The critic turns out to be a nasty person who has criticized and humiliated many people, so there are a plethora of suspects who may have wanted to do her in. This is a good book for readers who like cozy foodie mysteries.
