This was a fun, delightful cozy mystery set in one of my favorite places in the world, on the North Carolina coast. I had a little trouble getting into the story, but by halfway through, I couldn't put it down. Having a dog or cat be one of the main characters helps.

Set along the coast in North Carolina, this story takes place in a small town where there is a wealthy family hoping to buy up town properties, including moving a Civil War cemetery, and make a killing (!) in building new homes. When people connected with the family in some way start getting murdered, Olivia Limoges and her group of writer friends must step in and help solve the mystery. This is a good first entry in this series, and bodes well for the next ones.
