Another in the Charmed Pie Shop series, this story has many things happening: Ella Mae discovers where she gets her magic powers for the enchantments that she bakes into her pies; a murder occurs which must be solved by Ella and her friends and relatives; there is a new man in her life who may just lead her to romance; and she must prove that her pies do not contain an ingredient that kills. It is a good blend of paranormal, romance, and friendship.
