I really like this series. With each book the characters just keep getting better and the reader is pulled more deeply into the small town life of Darling and the fate of its residents. It is a great glimpse of what small-town America was like in the 1930's and brings to life a period of history that should not be forgotten. I hope there are lots more books coming in this series.
