I don't know where to start or end with a review...I loved it. It's a huge, gorgeous, deep work, and unless I'm missing something major (which could very well be the case), it's also a gorgeous mess. The "first novel of the Trump era" strikes at the heart--it strikes true with the music and all of the other cultural references and the great cliff that America plunged over after 9/11--and I'll need to read it about five more times to really come to terms with it.
