The story of Harry Potter continues picking up 19 years after Deathly Hallows. The play mainly focuses on Harry's middle child Albus and his friendship with Scorpius Malfoy, Draco's son. While I enjoyed this new perspective on the Harry Potter family/word, it could have been so much more. I think that I would have preferred this in actual novel form, but this was good. It was also a very quick read, and I do see myself reading it again at some point. I did enjoy the character development of both characters new and old. I would LOVE to see the actual play. I do hope that it comes to Iowa City or somewhere close someday.
