I picked this book because it referenced Rebecca - which is one of my favorite 5 star gothic mysteries and one of my favorite movies. It has a similar premise - the young beautiful poor woman who is captivated by the wealthy mysterious man who marries her and takes her to his mysterious mansion with many secrets.
