Lo Blacklock is a travel journalist covering the inaugural trip of the niche cruise ship the Aurora on its trip from England to Norway. The ship only has 10 cabins. Lo becomes concerned when the woman in the cabin next to hers disappears, possibly murdered. I figured out who the bad guy was fairly easily and was rather annoyed by Lo. I also thought the ending was kind of ridiculous. I didn't like the audio book narrator. I found all of her accents to be annoying and distracting from the story.

3 1/2 stars. Parts of this book were absolutely frightening and parts were absolutely annoying. Lo, the protagonist, wasn't terribly likable to me which placed a shadow over the entire book.

A quick thriller with lots of unexpected twists and turns.
A good summer or plane read.
The plot at the end went over the top but it’s okay. It kept me reading.
