I really enjoyed the story on audio, it slowed down an already "ordinary" situation and made it seem more special somehow? I enjoyed the characters, as I usually do in Liane Moriarty's tales.

I came into this one not expecting to like it, as it didn't get great reviews when it came out (I actually had to read this for a book discussion I'm leading as part of my library job).

I only picked up this book because it was on the speed read shelf and none of the books on my to-read list were available. I really did not enjoy the first 3/4 of the book. I kept reading it but thought it would be forgettable. But the last quarter was so enjoyable. So many loose ends tied up. So much hope and change. Every character had a chapter where you just had to smile and wish them well. So 3 stars for most of the book but 4 stars for the end. Plus I liked Vid and Tiffany and Dakota. Unus

When a book all but gives you PTSD flashbacks it's well written. I'm on disc 11 so still some time to go. Wow. Wow. Wow.
