Send in the clowns. Phryne Fisher dresses down and foregoes a few nights of the comforts at her home to join the circus incognito to investigate a murder and shady goings on. Found this series installment strained credulity. Given the previous five books in the series, this portrayal did not match the Phryne Fisher character as developed so far in the series.
