Yet another excellent entry in the Darling Dahlias series. I like how the author thoroughly researches the time period and the events that happened in real life history, and then incorporates them into her story. She re-creates the time period very well, and peoples it with small-town characters that are very real. My grandparents and parents, as well as aunts and uncles, grew up in just such a small town, although in Pennsylvania, and the people they talk about very much mirror the personalitie
