Fun! Feisty, independent, inquisitive heroine. Broody friends. A high school newspaper. Amateur sleuthing. Witty banter. Magic, secrets, fantastic creatures from more than one culture, family secrets, families. Just the fun I have been looking for and hadn’t been able to find. Can’t wait for read the rest! Maybe needing a lighthearted break from Say Nothing + Sharks.
