The first I've read of this series so I was lacking a bit of the personal history of the detectives' personal lives, however I still found it a compelling read. A truly dark crime at the heart of this story which the author revealed very slowly to the reader, tantalising with hints that the characters were holding information back.
Read the last 150 pages in one sitting I found it so gripping. ...more
