Very interesting read on the experience of the "three hikers" who wandered over the Iraqi-Kurdish border into Iran...well, they say they were "hailed" over by Iranian guards into Iran, while still hiking on the Iraqi side. Probably the case, but hey guys (& gal)--you should have known better, when you saw a guard or two at the top of a ridge, where a building stood. A very honest memoir from all 3 of the hikers who were wrongly accused of espionage and held against their will, for months on end, in a Iranian prison. The story is told in a rotating fashion, in chronological order, from all 3 perspectives of the hikers involved. The element that keeps the book cohesive is the authentic voice of Sarah, Josh, and Shane.
