A mystery set in an antique shop in San Francisco, this book tells the story of a young woman who has two cats, inherits her uncle's shop, and a mystery that has its origins in the history of the city. The premise of this book is good, but it the story seems to be too loosely woven in spots, and confusing in others. The ending was confusing. I liked the cats and I liked the character Monty.
