A short novel/novella/short story from Chile about Julio who lived and Emilia who died. A book full of youthful passion, a love for literature, minimalist language, gaps and omissions, art and a touch of metafiction. It’s often feels like a narrative poem about youth, failure and lost chances. The couple’s mutual lies about reading Proust were funny and bittersweet, just like the novella.

This book is short and a little strange and left me feeling things.
