My Interest
How fun to read a book set in the week that’s on the calendar right at that moment? [Albeit, in 2007 and in London] I liked the sound of it so much I had to listen right now!

The Story

This is the first time that I've read a Faulks book, but I will likely read another in the future. This book provides a relevant, social commentary about many different issues, from the current status of our banking industry to the motivation of Middle Eastern terrorists who live outside of the Middle East, and even how reality TV can go amuck if watched by the right audience.

uhmm..the premise is good, but i guess this is just not my cup of tea. really slow, full of details that I don't think I need to know. especially when it's related to the villain, John Veals, with his master plan to conquer financial world. bo to the ring. ...more
