I have read this before, but it is a quick tale so I gave it another listen as it qualified me for another completed step of a book challenge. This author’s books are difficult for me to enjoy, but always give me something to think about. And this one is entertaining enough to make a reread or enjoyment of a new format worthwhile.

I'm a fan of Murakami. However, perhaps it is a sign that one has gotten too famous when one's surrealistic incongruent nightmares are turned into a nonsensical narrative and sold as a book.
I read this as an audiobook, and it was a torture to finish even though short.
