I liked this book a whole lot more than I thought I would. It read quickly and will definitely keep teens turning the pages. It is about four teens who discover a murder, an illegal lab experiment, a sick wolfdog, and much more. The plot changes from the normal ho-hum mystery to a medical thriller when the teens realize they have been infected with the virus from the illegal lab experiment.
I've been disappointed in her Temperence Brennan books lately so I was very reluctant to try this series, but it was surprisingly good. The main character was a bit too informed about a wide variety of scientific areas for a teenager but other than that, a good effort.
