Since I've probably seen all procedurals in Netflix faster than they can make them LOL, I watched the movie trilogy before reading Book 1 so not a lot was a surprise to me.
I read this while on a TV marathon of Bosch and in between listening to Alex Cross audiobooks; I was struck by how different this was. Is it because of the woman author? It's more recent?
