The switching of time frames in the beginning of the book was at times a bit disorienting as was the multiple names for the main character but once I figured that out it became a game to try to determine what Emily's secret was.
The last fourth of the book was a roller coaster ride keeping up with the author's frenetic pace as the real story about Emily finally emerged. Without revealing too much and spoiling the author's surprise ending, I'm not sure the author played fair with her initial desc

This is an Ok read in the sense that it gets you to turn the pages. My main gripe with it is that there is some cheating involved. Key elements of plot are withheld and the author pulls the wool over our eyes. This worked as a plotting device but it is still a cheap trick in my opinion.
