The book headed in a direction I could never have predicted. Beautiful writing throughout but the aquarium scenes were magical. The ending felt very rushed to me and too neatly tied up into sort of a happyish ending. That is my major criticism. I hadn't heard of this author previously so keen to check another of his books out! ...more
