I love when historical fiction sends me to google searching for the true story that inspired the author. I loved the story of the French Resistance and the downed Allied pilots. I did find some parts of the story too convenient and cliche but as a whole, I enjoyed the book.
Found this gem in a Little Free Library. Read and listened to audio in tandem. This is my first Kristin Hannah book and I loved it. Excellent story of two sisters from France during WWII. Well researched and a very engaging story. Seriously hard to put down.
