What Members Thought
Less explanation of what were motives and who were possible killers and more clue dropping to allow the reader to figure out who the culprit wis would have improved this mystery. The information about zoo animals improved the contents of the book but not enough to up the rating much.
Teddy Bentley is a zookeeper at the fictional Gunn Zoo in California. Teddy's main charge, a giant anteater, is very pregnant when a body is found in her enclosure. Teddy is recruited by her former boyfriend, sheriff Joe Rejas, to help investigate the murder. Teddy also has to deal with her fugitive father and a threat to her beloved houseboat.
