I'd read some of Moning's Highlander romances and been LESS than impressed, but I gave her one more chance, and I'm glad I did. This book starts weak, the writing is passable but entertaining, but then the plot gets moving and I don't care about the writing any more, finishes strong on an awful cliffhanger. I MUST read the next book in this series!
