What Members Thought

What a great book! Ove (pronounced "ooooovuh") is grumpy old man who has given up on life until a pregnant woman and her family move in next door. This is my second book by Backman, and I am really digging his writing style and storytelling ability. Ove may not play well with all readers, but I thought that he was great. I kept thinking "you kids get off of my lawn" as I first listened to the book on audio and then finished it in paper format.

I don't know what it is about Backman's writing, but he has never failed to make me cry every time I pick up a book of his.
