3.5 stars. This book started off a bit rough - there are 8 "Bees" and I couldn't keep any of them straight, especially when they started throwing children's names in too! But, eventually, I got to know most of the characters and ended up really liking the book!

I liked this book but almost felt overwhelmed by the number of characters. Perhaps if I read more in the series I will be able to feel more at home in this town and with these people. The plot is good - a man is murdered inside one of the shops, and the shopkeepers and friends and neighbors band together to solve the mystery - unfortunately not before there is another murder. It is a good mystery with lots of characters contributing to the plot.
