A great ending to a wonderful trilogy.
I really love this series and this third book was wonderful. The idea that there are vampires and witches living normal intellectual lives with real careers and normal issues is so fun. But I also like when the magic is thrown in like the the spells and bloodrage issues etc. Diana and Matthew are a great couple, the idea behind the Book of life which they spend all of the book looking for is intriguing, and the cast of supporting characters are great. Diana Bishop and Matthew de Clairmont return to the present day determined to find the book of life and overturn the covenant. They must also deal with Matthew's renegade son Benjamin who is consumed by blood rage and is trying to create his own witch/vampire baby. The book drags in spots and the final confrontation does seem rushed.
