I have studied women in the Middle East for 15 years in order to write my novel The Seven Perfumes of Sacrifice, but I still learned a lot reading this mesmerizing memoir. It was hard to put down, shocking and disturbing. I am on to the next in the trilogy of this real Princess' life in Saudi Arabia.

I listened to this on Audible and flew through it. My eyes were opened and my understanding expanded. I appreciated her candor. At times that couldn’t have been easy. I have lots of thoughts, but no spoilers here - you’ll have to dive in!
