What Members Thought
A solid read that is loosely based upon Margaret Mead's life. I enjoyed the parts about the different cultures that the team of anthropologists studied in the book. I could have done without the love triangle elements, which dragged the overall pace of the story down. Hence, the 4 versus 5 star rating. Even so, I highly recommend this book.

I read this thinking it would have some similarities with Sarah Waters works but other than the odd gender orientation, I didn't see it. I don't know much about anthropology but this book did not inspire me to look further into the subject.
