Enjoyable but no Microserfs. The crazy family -- while, okay, yes, the word "psychotic" is in the title, but this crazy family was actually too crazy for me; a step back from the wackiness and I'd have believed in them, but as it was they felt like caricatures and I ended up only caring about Janet, the mother. I'd have liked to care more about the rest of the characters, too, and I just couldn't. It was enjoyable in a page-turner trainwreck what's-going-to-happen-next sort of way, but I'd have
