hhhmmmmm. don't really know what to say. a little disappointed in the way the ending was done. seems to be an unusual long shot for explanation. I am not buying it.

Every once in a while I get to read a book and ask myself at the end, what the hell I just read. Here we go folks. People have described this as a loose retelling of snow white. If you go in with that notion, you'll be thoroughly disappointed.
It's weird. It's America around the 1950's, racial discrimination, transgenders, rats - honestly no real story. I also think we're meant to hate every character.
Definitely not worth reading despite parts of it well written (how it's said, not what's said). ...more
