A fun read by two masters. I've read a lot of Pratchett but nothing by Gaiman before this. I have to say this does not strike me as nearly as funny or surprising as the Disc World series, which I love. But there were lots of funny allusions and odd characters which made it enjoyable. The ending was rather cliche and I was a little disappointed, although not surprised, given the subject, which is the "end of the world" and the apocalyptic battle between good and evil.
