Wally Lamb is my favorite author. I found this book touching and believable... until the last part where it almost fell apart for me.
It actually seemed like two books to me. The first part, which is most of the book, is about the entire Oh family: Orion, the father, his two daughters and son and ex-wife Annie who has left him to marry a woman. I was so excited about another Wally Lamb book, but found it difficult to get into this book to begin with...although the story was intriguing and I couldn't wait to get to know the characters and find out about their stories. I pushed myself to continue to read this as i thought it might be me, or that I was at a time in my life when I didn't have the energy, was recovering from a serious surgery, etc.,etc. I pushed through it but didn't really care about any of the characters until 2/3 of the

Such a long and drawn out story. Usually I find books with more than one narrator to be compelling but not with this one - didn't warm to any characters, didn't care what happened to them.
