What Members Thought
Written in 1968, this book has withstood the test of time. Obviously there was no CSI on TV then, which explains the author's careful explanation of ER lingo and many of the tests which today are routine. Many of the problems are still eerily familiar, and what might have been a mundane mystery the death of a young woman who had recently undergone an abortion has societal issues that probably still exist today.
