This book suffers from so many ailments that I am not certain which ones to point out for the wary reader.
The first book in the series was mildly interesting but this one... just a bad idea.
There is a sense of the writer talking down to the writer. It is a given that the target audience is YA, however, that doesn't mean the writer has to make the dialogue infer that everyone that is a teen in the novel is an idiot. A really engaging story, keeps you on edge at all times, which makes this a really fast read, just like the first one, Uglies. The continuing saga of Tally, Shay and Tally's newest boyfriend, Zane who are all Pretties, but are also in a group called the Crims. Does Tally really want to be pretty, or is it just a ploy to breakdown the "pretty" society?? I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, I can't wait to read Specials.
