This is my first read of Ms. Harrison's books, and I enjoyed it. It will be interesting to see how Rachel's worldview changes as she grows in experience, as much of the tension in the book stems from things that she doesn't think possible...so hopefully she will learn as she ages!

Mr. Jenks is hilarious and the other characters also intrigue, appeal, and have room to grow; so much so, in fact, that if I weren't under a deadline to finish an N.K. Jemisin book before I have to return it to the libr

Very fun. Definitely will be reading the rest of the series.

Also, something that greatly appeals to me... tomatoes are evil. No joke.

There's a lot of setup going on in this book, but that is fine with me since I know there's a series following it. Lots of really interesting characters that all promise to add a lot of depth to the story. (My favorite is probably Jenks.)
I'm still not sure what to think about Nick. I like Ivy, but not sure about her motives, either. Plenty of intrigue to get me
