3.5 stars. I am a big fan of these books. They are fun reads, well plotted, interesting world building and are never boring. Add to that a main character with an interesting "voice" and you have a good, solid read.

I enjoyed the book when I read it, but it never captivated me enough to where I HAD to pick it up. The way Michael was introduced messede me up badly, I felt like I was supposed to know him already.
Michael and his family were good additions to the family, and I really like the fact that the vampires in the book are not just sex objects, but evil.
